Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Chapterwing account and its associated data at any time. This page applies to accounts created on the Chapterwing website or through the Chapterwing mobile app.

How to request deletion

Send an email to the address below from the email address associated with your Chapterwing account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We use the sending address to verify that you own the account.

We will confirm your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your account profile (email address, username, name, and avatar).
Your listening history and playback progress.
Your follows, reviews, comments, and reactions.
Your Soundscapes, saved music, and preferences.
Your notification and device push subscriptions.

What may be retained

We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes — for example, records of past purchases or payment transactions — for as long as the law requires. Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the App Store are managed by those stores; deleting your account does not cancel an active store subscription, so please cancel it in your store account as well.
